If we continue to process and assess data, we will do so in anonymised form. This is done for statistical purposes to detect errors.

Some cookies are necessary for our website to function. These are cookies to which you do not have to consent because they are placed on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring flawless use of our service to you as a customer (Article 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

You may consent to other cookies that are not necessary. You may do so on the cookie banner that is displayed when you open our website.

You may also use your browser to configure your cookie settings and limit or block cookies.

Please note that certain functions of our website may not be available when disabling cookies.

    Google Analytics

If you consent, our website will use Google Analytics 4, a web analysis service of Google LLC. The controller for users in the EU, EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).

    Scope of Processing
Google Analytics uses cookies that enable your use of our website to be analysed. The information collected by these cookies on your use of this website will normally be transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the US.

We use the user ID function. A user ID allows us to assign one or multiple sessions (and the activity during these sessions) to a unique and permanent ID to analyse user behaviour across devices.

Google Analytics 4 anonymises IP addresses by default. Through this IP anonymisation, Google will shorten your IP address within member states of the European Union or other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptions will your full IP address be transmitted to and shortened by a Google server in the US. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser when using Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. When visiting our website, your user behaviour will be documented in form of “events.” Events may include:

    • Page access
    • First visit to our website
    • Start of a session
    • Your “clickstream” or interaction with our website
    • Scrolls (whenever a user scrolls to the end (90%) of a page)
    • Clicking on external links
    • Internal search requests
    • Interaction with videos
    • File downloads
    • Ads viewed/clicked
    • Language settings

    Also collected:

    • Your approximate location (region)
    • Your (shortened) IP address
    • Technical information about your browser and devices (e.g., language settings, screen resolution)
    • Your internet service provider
    • Referrer URL (from which website/ad you reached our website)

Google uses this information to assess your [pseudonymous [NOT WHEN USING A USER ID]] use of our website and prepare website activity reports for us. Reports provided by Google Analytics help us analyse the performance of our website and the success of our marketing campaigns.

    Data recipients are/may include:

    • Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (as a processer within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR)
    • Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
    • Alphabet Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA

Access by US authorities to data stored by Google cannot be excluded.

For data processed outside of the EU/EEA with no level of security equivalent to European standards, we concluded EU standard contractual clauses with service providers for adequate protection. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is based in California, USA. Transfers of data to the US and access by US authorities to data stored by Google cannot be excluded. The US is currently considered a third country for data protection. You do not have the same rights there as in the EU/EEA and may have no recourse against access by US authorities.

Data transmitted by us and linked to cookies will be automatically erased after 14 months. Data whose storage period has expired is automatically erased once per month.

The legal basis for this data processing is your consent pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect by accessing and changing your cookie settings through the button on the bottom left. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

You may also block cookies in advance through your browser settings. However, configuring your browser to disable cookies may limit the functionality of our and other websites. Furthermore, you may prevent cookies from transmitting data (incl. your IP address) on your use of our website to Google and Google from processing this data by:
